Play Of Color
Play Of Color is a Japanese deep tech and tech house label founded in Tokyo in November 2023.
It is run by four members—Yuta Yamada, Amps, ISPA, and GooPer—who plan and operate club events and release music both domestically and internationally.
They have invited a wide range of artists, from established names like Kolter, Vitess, Robbie Doherty, RUZE, Dennis Quin, and Michel De Hey to up-and-coming talents.
They have hosted parties at venues such as Womb, ENTER, club asia, or, and OATH, connecting Tokyo's club scene with the international house music community.
Furthermore, Play Of Color aims to become an international platform for local artists, for example, through the release of compilation EPs featuring Japanese producers active in the same genres. Their released tracks have also received support from renowned DJs like Chris Stussy.
We aim to be an entry point for experiencing club music. As such, we actively introduce deep tech and tech house, genres not yet widely recognized in Japan, creating an environment where new listeners, artists, and communities can naturally emerge. Through these activities, we cultivate the groundwork for Japan's club scene to become richer and more expansive.
Play Of Color は、2023年11月に東京で設立された、日本発のDeep TechおよびTech Houseを軸とするレーベルです。
Yuta Yamada、Amps、ISPA、GooPerの4名でクラブイベントの企画・運営および国内外に向けたリリースを行っています。
Kolter、Vitess、Robbie Doherty、RUZE、Dennis Quin、Michel De Heyなど、実績のあるアーティストからアップカミングな才能まで幅広く招聘し、東京のクラブシーンと国際的なハウスミュージック・コミュニティを接続するパーティーをWomb、ENTER、club asia、or、OATH などで開催してきました。
また、同ジャンルで活躍する日本人プロデューサーによるコンピレーションEPのリリースなどを通じて、ローカルアーティストの国際的な発信拠点となることを目指しています。また、リリース楽曲はChris Stussyなど有名DJからもサポートされています。
私たちは、クラブミュージックに触れるための入口となることを目指します。その入口として日本ではまだ十分に認知されていないDeep TechやTech Houseを積極的に紹介し、新しいリスナーやアーティスト、コミュニティが自然に生まれていく環境をつくります。
これらの活動を通じて、日本のクラブシーンがより豊かに広がっていくための土壌を育てます。
